The following is a little history of myself, our family, friends, why my brother "marky" and I dig old Hot Rods and Rock'n'Roll, and the purpose of this website. We were raised listening to all types of what I call "REAL MUSIC".
It was not uncommon to come home from school and hear recordings
ranging from Glen Miller, The Andrew Sisters, Louie Prima, Bill
Haley, Danleers, Penguins, Del
My main objective with this website is to promote and organize hot rod and custom car shows as well as vintage Rock'n'Roll shows with live dj's, bands, mc's, and vendors. Together, with the help of my wife Celeste we will always be looking for new as well as veteran acts. This will be done from our home in historic Riverside California. So I welcome any demo C.D.’s. Elvis, Rick Nelson, Del Shannon, Ventures, Lively Ones, Surfari's,
and also Dutch/Indonesian "Indo Rock" groups like the Tielman
Bros., Javelins, The Blue Diamonds, and the Black Dynamites. I
must not forget Credence Clearwater Revival that created the "swamp
rock" sound and was highly influenced by rockabilly! The reason
for this vast range of music that was continually played in our
home was due to the fact that our father has always been a full
time musician and avid record collector. He played in various
Rock'n'Roll groups since the late 1950's. He even sat in with
the Spaniels once in Washington D.C.! Our grandfather (who I am
named after) was in a swing/big band in the late 30's early 40's
called the Silver Kings. My brother and I both play drums and
have been in surf and rockabilly bands. So music runs in our veins.
